Wesley Sneijder Staying With The Nerazzurri

Wesley SneijderSoren Lerby, agent of Wesley Sneijder has told that his client will not move from Italian club Inter Milan this season. The runner-up member of this year's football World Cup was previously linked with two Manchester Clubs, City and United.

However, Lerby insists there is no reason to leave, and is fully confident his man will remain at the club.

Wesley Sneijder was even linked to Spanish giant Real Madrid as former Inter coach Jose Mourinho is now in charge of the Spanish side. However, Sneijder himself at one point during the summer seemed open to the idea of returning to Madrid but it is now can be said that he is staying with the Nerazzurri.

"This is one of those years in which everything is beautiful and perfect. It's difficult that Wesley will forget everything that has happened this year," the agent told Calcionews24.com.

"He has made history and everyone is happy for that. His future? That is with Inter, there are no doubts or problems about this."

89 Minutes for David Beckham In His Debut in Serie A

David Beckham against Matteo BrighiDavid Beckham made a start in his AC Milan debut on Sunday (11th Jan, 2009), playing 89 minutes in a 2-2 draw against AS Roma.

The English midfielder was replaced by Mathieu Flamini in the 89th minute. He exited mostly to boos from the Roma crowd.

"I felt good in the game, very strong and I enjoyed it," Beckham said. "I enjoyed playing with these players and in this city."

Beckham joined Milan on a two-month loan from the Los Angeles Galaxy of Major League Soccer, hoping to stay sharp so he can earn a spot on the English national team.

"I don't want to have regrets in my career," Beckham said. "I am very lucky to have this chance with this great club and I want to enjoy it."

Reggina Officially Signs Bernardo Corradi

Bernardo CorradiReggina have officially completed the signing of Manchester City striker 32-year-old Bernardo Corradi. The 32-year-old joined Manchester City from Valencia in 2006, after a poor season in EPL he was trasfered to Parma on loan.

He scored 5 goals in 27 appearances for Parma, but it was of no use as Parma was relegated to Serie B.

AS Roma's Amantino Mancini Signs A 4-year Contract With Inter Milan

Amantino ManciniInter Milan have officially signed AS Roma's winger Amantino Mancini for €12.5million.

Mancini's contract with AS Roma was due to end in 2009, but Roma always wanted to sell this winger.

Mancini is now Jose Mourinho's first senior signing and has made a contract with Mancini until 2012, which is around €2.5m a year.

Mancini made 154 appearances and scored 40 goals for Roma between 2003 and 2008 after joining from Atletico Mineiro.

19-year old midfielder Francesco Bolzoni has also signed a 4-year deal with Inter Milan.
