Roger Federer of Switzerland bounced back from his singles disappointment against James Blake of USA to win a gold medal for Switzerland at the Beijing Olympics on Saturday with compatriot Stanislas Wawrinka.

Federer and Wawrinka, seeded fourth, beat Swedish pair of Thomas Johansson and Simon Aspelin 6-3, 6-4, 6-7, 6-3 in the doubles final.
