Three clubs have been linked with Maggio. They are Napoli, Aston Villa and AC Milan. However it is the Italian Napoli that won the race and have signed in 26 year-old Maggio.Napoli will pay €8m to Sampdoria, while Maggio has signed a five year contract worth €800,000 a season.
